General talk to text question

    when i do talk to text it seems to bleep out words #####...is this a profanity filter? or that it just doesn't have them in the library? anyone know a setting/workaround/app that can fix this? :D

    it might be that they're not in the library, typing them usually doesn't work either.


    I seem to remember a while back Google specifically saying they did not support them because they wanted to avoid mistakenly getting those words.

    If you sent a message to your mom that said "don't touch that lock" it COULD in theory pop up as something you wouldn't want sent to your mum.

    There is a profanity filter built in. I am not sure if adding them to your dictionary will change this as I believe the translating gets done in the cloud by Google not on your phone.
