Im new to android, ive been spending the past 2 weeks on the forum scanning through all the posts trying to pick up some off the tricks and other things im gonna need to not break my phone and get the most out of it. One thing i havent found a clear answer on though is task killer apps on froyo.

Ive read that with froyo, you dont need a task killer because it does it well enough on its own and might bug the os out by closing apps that should be closed, and ive read other wise.

So does anyone have the definite answer?

Wish I hadn't did the OTA 2.2 so I still had task killer to speed up my phone, it always lags and I've tried the reset twice, the first time I didn't format my SD card so people were saying that's why the reset didn't work but after a reset and SD format my phone was slow. If you use one set it up so it doesn't run at intervals, only when you run it. Then make sire you set any system functions, anything you don't know what it is and any thing you use frequently to ignore. If you kill system processes it will have adverse effects on your phone and if you kill things you use it will slow the phone down while it re-ques them
