Sorry, I posted this twice, didn't realize there was a TASKER Forum Group

I can create the folder name and it displays okay at the bottom of the screen, but when I Drag and Drop a TASKER "Profile" over the Project Folder name it does not save the Profile in the folder. Is there a TASKER setting or Android Setting that needs to be changed that allows the Profile to be stored in the Project Folder.

I am confused by your description ...
"folder name and it displays at the bottom of the screen"?
"drag a Tasker Profile over the project folder"?

What are you trying to accomplish?

Tasker has a proprietary built-in backup/restore facility for Projects, Profiles, and Tasks. The information is saved in folders in the Tasker folder.

I viewed a tutorial where you can divide your profiles and tasks up into projects. Here is the following video where the user is simply moving profiles into a folder he calls TEST from the HOME folder. It is the first VIDEO in the list.

    http://www.pocketables.com/2016/04/tasker-part2.html

When he drags the PROFILE entry from the HOME group to the TEST group (called Projects) it saves the ENTRY in the NEW TEST folder but when I drag the ENTRY from the HOME group to the folder LESSON that I have created nothing is SAVED in the NEW folder LESSON.

The way to learn Tasker is to start out small ... get that to work ... add to it ... get that to work.

It is unclear what you are trying to accomplish.

I did not view the video.
    • Home is not a group. Home is a Project.
    • The Home Project contains Profiles, Tasks, Scenes, and Variables.
    • You can select Profiles, Tasks, and Scenes from one project and drag them to a different Project name at the bottom of the Tasker window. This will MOVE them to the appropriate area (Profile, Task, or Scene) of the Project you selected.
    • To duplicate a Profile, Task, or Scene highlight it and select Clone. Provide a new name. Then select the newly created element and drag it to the Project of your choice
