TWRP for Gelato (the board that the slider and Q uses) is officially supported by teamwin! You can pick it up at their website.

Unofficial TWRP 2.4.4.0!

CHANGELOG for 2.4.4.0:
-Added another libtar hardlink workaround to fix restore of some backups (usually related to Ubuntu Touch)
-More fixes for the file selector
-Switched from using busybox md5sum to a direct C function call
-Fixed capturing the exit status of tar based backups/restore - TWRP will display that there was an error if there was one again
-Update exFAT to latest commits
-Added a build flag to disable using the ioctl for screen blanking

We also used qnhoang81 and rhg135's new device tree, which fixed adb and reboot functions!)

The recovery has basically a port of TWRP2.4.4.0 with the following not working:

Flashing most .zips in their current state(more on this later))

Use the Optimus Q build if you want usb/adb on the optimus Q
How to install(with installer zip):

1. put the .zip on your sdcard
2. reboot into recovery
3. chose install zip and point it to the twrp zip
4. once it finished, you should be set, just leave recovery and boot back into it

How to install(with recovery.img):

1. Download recovery.img and place it on the root of your sd card
2. open up android terminal emulator (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jackpal.androidterm&hl=en)
3. type su and if you are prompted with a superuser request click allow, if not and you don't see anything about request denied than continue on
4. type "flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img" without quotes
5. once again no news is good news, go ahead and reboot into recovery ("reboot recovery" without quotes)

Optimus Slider. This one is a little buggy for me, it
seems to turn the screen off instead of rebooting when told to. I can still access it through ADB. It also doesn't seem to be charging at all when plugged in. great work from your whole team. I fully enjoy both of these recoveries.

Was unable to flash ZIPs with this recovery. When I switched to COT recovery all three that I tried worked no problem.
