Telephone randomly restarting.

    I just updated my Samsung Galaxy S2 a few days ago. After the updated my phone startes to randomly restart. Sometimes it takes some time, other times just an houre or so between.
    Anyone have this problem?

    Were you rooted before you took the update?

    Have you tried a factory reset? A factory reset will delete all your apps / settings, so make sure you back up anything that is important.

    Which carrier do you use? If you're not rooted and a factory reset doesn't fix it, I can move this thread to the Galaxy S2 forum that covers devices from your carrier and someone else may be able to offer more specific advice.

    Hi and thanks for the responce. There is two words Im not familier with. Rooted and carrier. Carrier, is that the company that I use?

    Yes, what company do you get cell phone service from?

    And if you don't know what rooted means, you shouldn't be rooted :) Rooted is like having administrator rights on a Windows computer. It's called 'jailbreaking' when referring to iPhones.

    Ah, thanks. Im using someone called Telenor. And as for Rooted, nope. Not done that.
    All this change when I updated to lates Android:
    I have verson:
    Android verson:2.3.5
    Baseband verson: I9100XXKI4
    Kernel Verson: 2.6.35.7.-I9100XWKI8-CL616395root@DELL149 #2
    Build number: GINDERBRED.XWKI8
