I am interested in a weather center app or product that will give me the actual temp outside my house ...and wind speed etc...

Currently I have a display/receiver on my shelf and a transmitter on my deck. I'd like this info on my phone...

    Is there anything out there?

Never seen anything like that. I dont know how the phone would receive a signal from a temperature transmitter.

Seems as if an outside weather station would be a prime candidate for a link either to a WiFi network or Bluetooth.

I have access to my Personal Weather Station on my phone with 2 widgets:

    1. Cumulus Realtime. Requires a PWS compatible with Cumulus software (free for Windows) and your own website for Cumulus to upload the data. The widget accesses the website to get readings at predefined intervals.

    2. PWS Time and Weather. Requires a PWS and software such as Cumulus to upload your data to Weather Underground (Wunderground), which the widget accesses.

It's an addictive hobby and there's plenty of help available on the Cumulus (Sandaysoft) forum.
