I *think* I know the answer to this question, but just wanted verification here.

I would like to program Tasker to disable an app 5 days a week and re-enable it on the weekends.

For example, the app I use (SmartWear Notifications) for my watch takes a fair chunk of resources even when I am not wearing my watch. (I only wear my watch on the weekends).
The app itself is not a system app, it was installed via the Play Store.

I'd like to disable the app during the week and re-enable it on the weekends.

Now, I think that I need root for this correct? (I do not have root).

Maybe. What I was playing with was ...

Profile: WD (674)
Day: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu or Fri
Enter: Anon (675)
A1: Flash [ Text:Week Day Long:Off ]
A2: Kill App [ App:A+ Gallery Use Root:Off ]

Profile: WE (672)
Day: Sun or Sat
Enter: Anon (673)
A1: Flash [ Text:Weekend Long:Off ]
A2: Launch App [ App:A+ Gallery Data: Exclude From Recent Apps:Off Always Start New Copy:Off ]

Change A+ Gallery to be the app you want to control.

... Thom
