Terminal emulators?

ive seen these programs and tried one and just looks like a command prompt and i was wondering if one of these programs eliminates having to use the command prompt on my pc....but my next question is how would you use it for commands that requires you to be in recovery ??? TIA just never had experience with this kind of program

It does allow the same type of commands you use from your computer. Removing files or copying and all the commands you can do while not connected to your computer.

To my knowledge there are not any commands that you cannot do outside of recovery.
