Please help before I return this phone.

I had an Atrix since release date and put it through it's phases. Loved it, coming from an iPhone, I am loving the Android.

I saw the Infuse at an ATT store. Loved the screen. A few things I really disliked on Atrix, made me exchange with the Infuse (Costco 90 day policy :))
    Atrix dislikes:
Location of the power button and charger connector location,
Although worked, I stopped using the thumb password,
No sideloading (biggie, although I rooted the atrix, like the ability to run apps without rooting.,

Here is my major issues with the Infuse, I want to make sure I am not installing anything to cause the issues.

Major lag all over. Using Launcher pro, press the add widget, wait 30 seconds for the list to even show up.
Take a photo, wait 10 seconds until ready to take a second pic, sometimes back or home button does not respond for like 30 seconds while taking pics.

Please advice. Anyone having issues this major. It is making this phone hard to keep. Considering trying the HTC Inspire or going back to the Atrix.

    Thanks in advance.

No issues like you are experiencing. You may want to try factory reset and then leave touchwiz as your UI for a little while. Duplicate what problems you are having and see if it happens again. As many reviews that are out and as many of these phones that they sold you would hear about major lag if it was common at all.

That makes sense. That will be a b...ch to do. I guess I have to .

So you have the phone and no lag issues at all?

I came from 2 dud Atrix's. The Infuse is every bit as quick, doesn't get hot and has a better display. Blur imho is a major distraction compared to Touchwiz. I switch back and forth beween LP Plus and Touchwiz. Most of the time I use TW.
If I was looking to switch Moto would not be in the running. ATT is teasing the Galaxy S2 on Facebook. That is the one ATT phone that might get me to drop my Infuse.

the only lag i have is when tryin to add app shortcuts or widgets the list takes for ever to load and show..this has happened on two of my infuses..but home button and camera is quick. this widget lag happens both when using launcher pro or touchwiz. i would keep the infuse..atrix sucks big time..that thing lagged so bad for me and the screen sucks and so does the camera.
