    Sure.

    Enable wireless hotspot, pay extra money to Verizon for that feature, and connect the iPad to the DX through wifi. Extremely simple and everything is built in. Take you all of 1 minute.

    There are other methods to enable the hotspot for free.

    root droid x or use easy tether.

    Thanks man........I didn't see anywhere that easy tether works via wifi or with an ipad.......if it does, i won't need to root to use the root wifi app......i've been considering rooting for awhile now since its pretty much idiot proof now.....

    check out pdanet also. i have used it with great success on my mac book pro.

    i'm using pdanet now with my regular laptop but an ipad doesn't have a usb port:)
