Help tethering lg l70 metro pcs

Has anyone rooted the lg optimus l70 from metro pcs and tetherd to a ps3, i have done this with the lg f6 and was wondering if the settings were the same?

I believe it works for ps3 if I'm not mistaken...no wait there's an app I just forgot which one.

There is an app that you can download from Google Play Store called FoxFi it's a free mobile hotspot I used to run my Black Ops 2 for Playstation 3 and play on the internet with this app just couldn't figure out how to run a laptop's internet through the Foxfi app...
