Tethering on Windows XP

Hi all!

I have problems to tether my Hero on Windows XP Pro with SP3.
Everything seems working fine. PDAnet client installed on both sides (PC and Hero), the connection is successful but I'm not able to browse the net. (IP obtained) I'm not using firewall and antivirus SW. What do you think about this issue ?!

You should not need to use PDANet - the GSM Hero comes with USB tethering as standard (unless your supplier has disabled it). Have you tried the following (all copied out of the manual). First install HTCsync on your computer, then follow these instructions

Mine worked with NO setup or extra software required, I was very impressed. I am running XP Sp3 also!..
