Is this possible without rooting and paying for the service from Sprint
PdaNet or Easytether
or GOOGLE something android tether apps - Google Search
not wirelessly (that I know of). If you want to tether you have 3 options: 1) USB Tether with PDANet app, 2) Root for wireless, 3) Pay Sprint 30bucks and you can do both.
i just downloaded the pdanet app myself. but ive heard mixed things on it. Like should just buy it cuz it cant access most sites?
I did the easyteather paid, it works on both my pcs at only $10
and that uses the wired connection correct? and just a one time charge? seems like everyone would do this instead of paying for home internet
and saw some bad reviews? like it stops working whenever you get a call or text? that would suck
The Evo does not support simultaneous voice and data unless the data is over wifi. So the problem you mention is not limited to any particular tethering app. It's a problem if your data source is 3G.
the Evo CAN do voice & 4G data simultaneously
Only wired and only one time pay
