alright so me and my brother are out of town where there is no internet.. I am rooted and I have the ability to tether.. Just the question is, if we both use this for our primary connection this entire weekend, can version do anything about it, notice it, or is it against their terms and conditions? I just don't want my service getting cut off or limited.

If you use it for 1 minute they can tell.... that is if they decide to monitor your data usage. Your computer has a signature which says "I'm using a computer for the internet, not a mobile browser". I wouldn't worry about it at all, there are lots and lots of people doing it with gigs of data. I am not one of them, but in a pinch I'd use it.
