My wife called me today and said she got a text message, assumingly from Verizon (I assume in the standard 'free msg from verizon' opening format) that talked about the Android 2.2 and Flash 10.1 and a link to the support site.
She got the major Froyo update OTA and I did the minor FRG22D update manually at least a couple of weeks ago.
Did anyone else get any text messages from Verizon... and why on earth would Verizon send them? Just seems like a waste.
EDIT: Just for clarity, this was on her D1. I, as of now, have not received a text messages (I am also using a D1, and did manual updates for both Foryo related updates).
