Text message alerts

Is it possible with the S3 to set up different customized alert sounds for incoming texts depending on who they're from? It should be possible it would seem to me because you can set up different ring tones for different contacts.However,I cant find such a setting.Thanks...

I havent done it but i had a quick look and it seems like Go Sms does it in its "advanced" "indevidual" settings :thumbup: dont know about the samsung app though

Yes, go to the contact, scroll down and change Message Alert to whatever you like from Default
