Text Message Error Message

Every time I send a Text message, I get a message back saying...
"Message Delivered as plain text. Destination does not support enhanced messaging service."

All I sent was text. What does this mean? Thanks.

No, I have not. Where would that setting be found?

Keep the default. I thought you may have been trying to send texts in a format you downloaded but if you haven't, that is not the issue.
There are some things I do before I call *611 for tech help.
Power cycle the phone and do the network reprogram (*228 option #1) It almost seems like VZ doesn't recognize your phone on the network as being able to send texts. I had that happen when I first got an LG Dare and had to get Vz's first data plan. It was solved by the above steps. I am guessing at this point since it does not seem like a phone related problem.
