Text messages to sd card

Is there an app that allows me to store the text messages to the sd card?

I am using an Lg Optimus (wont die and it does everything I want to do), but I regularly have to review what is stored in the internal memory. If there was an app that did stored the messages to the sd card, it would save me a tremendous amount of time.

SMS Backup+. Back up the ones you want to move, save the backup on the SD card (and/or on your computer) and delete those messages. (The backups are xml files, but you can read them in any text editor if you ignore the xml tags.)

Thank you for the prompt answer, im not looking to backup the messages, im looking >place< the messages on the sd card.

Much like my k9 email app, where i can select where to put the emails.
