OK so since last night I haven't received one text messaged. Everyone is getting the ones i'm sending but i'm not receiving any back.

I flashed a nandroid and went back to a stock rom and voila! 30 text messages within minutes...

what steps do i need to take from here? I tried going back to aosp but the texts still aren't getting to me

First once you nandroid back to aosp boot to recovery and wipe just cache and davlik cache and see if that helps. If not, try flashing your current rom on top of your rom after you wipe cache and davlik cache. If neither of those work you may need to do a full wipe and reflash.

Let me know your results after the first two options.

OK while there go to settings> about phone> system updates > update prl then update profile. The nandroid back to aosp and try and receive a text.

Are you on aosp or your sense nandroid right now? And it won't load recovery or won't boot to recovery?

Well I have read where people were having text issues unto they went back and update prl and profile. It's wierd it won't let you update your prl.

As for recovery try power and volume down till you reach hboot then hit home to get to recovery.
