On my Galaxy Note 5, when in the Texting app, the icon I touch to send the text always shows the number 2 inside of that icon. Google searches come up with no answer !
Any idea what that number is ?

He probably has the sim inside the SIM 2 tray. Note 5 is dual sim. So if he has 2 sims inserted, he'll have 2 "send message buttons", with the numbers 1 and 2 on them to indicate whether he's sending from SIM 1 or SIM 2.

Ahh ! Yes, I do have dual sims, but never thought of that. Thanks, it was driving me crazy. Being an IT guy for 30 years I can usually figure these things out, but this one had me stumped !
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH !
