Text to recent numbers used?

    is there a way to list the mose recently / most used numbers at the top of the contact selection list? nokia refer to this as recently used? so i dont have to type / scroll through my contacts to find the one?

    or is the only way to reply to them / use the favorites boxy thing (is that a widget?)

    for calls, press phone at the bottom, for texting, download and install handcent SMS. (far better and customisable text app) and in there when you want to text is a recently used tab.

    you could also assign speed dials to each number for calling.

    When you hit the "phone" softkey, then the numbers/contacts are listed at the top of the screen above the dialler, starting with last used - If you want to see further back, just hit the softkey to the right of the CALL button, and then just tap and hold any name/number and select "Send text message" simples...

    thanks guys!
    maybe i will have a go at handcent SMS, but im sure i read there was some problems with desire anyone had any?
    can you make it look like the standard sms app?
