Texting issues

Live in Florida, visiting Maine. Can send text, but can not receive from those using Verizon. Wife has same phone (LG P506) powered by Consumer Cellular and AT&T. She has no problems, it appears to be just my phone. All messages I have sent have been received, verified by calls made to those individuals.
Is there a fix?

Have you tried rebooting your phone, also try clearing cache and data from your messaging app
