New to Hero. I see the 3 options of keyboards, are there any other (bigger) keyboard options available out there as an application? My fingers are too big to text accuratley with the choices provided. Any ideas or help would be appreciated!

If you go into the market their is one called better keyboard.
I've never used it myself but those that have recon its better.

I take it you have tried landscape mode ?.

I have mine in the phone keypad setting, use it in portrait and the buttons are plenty big enough.

My fingers are a bit large as well, but I just trust in the Hero's ability to figure out what I'm trying to say, throwing my fingers in the general vicinity of the key I want. It's generally VERY good at getting it right, making it quite easy to text rather quickly.

Stick with it, the auto complete is one me the best I'v3 seen. I keep mine on phone key pad and if it doesn't get the word I'm after just flip to landscape and the qwerty gets it. I had a i900 omnia that keyboard sucked.

Edinstu is completely right. The keyboard is awesome with the auto complete features and also the ability to learn new words etc. I use the keyboard that came on the Android OS in full mode by shifting the phone to landscape when texting or writing emails. Hope this helps. Happy New Years.
