Texts failing

anyone in the central california area having trouble send texts? wanna see if its just me or if its a verizon issue

A thread was started a few days ago with "missing text bodies" as the issue; apparently received texts were vacant except for the sender's name.

I keep thinking that text problems have more to do with signal loss than anything else, being on the periphery of nearest tower's signal coverage, especially if texting is successful in other areas.

I was having this issue. I called Verizon on yesterday and stayed on the phone for a hour. We did a factory reset and he also did a reset on his end. He told me not to use Handcent for a few days and when I do reintall it, if this happens again I should email the developer. Hope this helps!!

Don't know if it's affecting you, but the Colorado/Wyoming area is on its second day of no voice/text service. Grr.
