Maybe they did it just because its the right thing to do and they just want to support their developers.. HAHAHAHAHA. I almost got that out without laughing, oh well.
Yea, its the marketshare spooking them. They know that MS hasn't accomplished anything during their last decade of messing around in the mobile space and they aren't likely to start now. RIM is a one tricky pony, its a good trick though, their hold on the enterprise smart phone space is still pretty solid. Android has evolved into a threat and its getting bigger every day.
