For me, the best part is using my phone without even considering for a moment how best to maximize battery life. Bonus points for not having to worry about those "Incredibly" stupid Low Memory warnings on the Incredible.

I just... USE MY PHONE! What a concept!

I talked the fiancee into using my old Incredible and she is hooked and wanting a next-gen android.... this is numero uno on my radar... I really loved how sleek it seemed.

3300 MaH. I think its the largest OEM battery in a phone right now.

It's a Maxx. I've had some great phones, but I think this tops em all. It does everything and fast. One of the best features is the outstanding battery life. Like the energizer bunny...going and going and going all day long ;)

It just works, and it works really well. The UI is polished and well thought out, and a lot of the issues I was seeing on the Bionic were absent from the MAXX. I really like this phone!

There was a thread on the Nexus forum debating the Razr Maxx and the Galaxy Nexus and someone posted that the Nexus was better and the battery wasn't a problem. All they had to do was put the screen brightness at 25% and underclock the CPU and they could make it through the work day fine. That post is exactly why I went with the Maxx. What good is having all the wonderful power if you have to dial it down just to get through the day!

It doesn't make the phone feel big. It still feels slim. But man, is there POWER TO BURN!!!!

I just got my maxx in the mail yesterday. I am coming from an incredible. Right now I am loving the maxx. Not because the incredible was bad, because it wasn't. Before that I had a windows mobile phone and jumping to the incredible was like jumping out of a model T and into the starship enterprise. Anyway, I will make a few comments about what makes this phone as good as it is, along with a few things that concern me.

    1. The Good: I can already tell that the battery life is gonna be beast mode. Running brightness up, heavy use, 4gLTE all the time, browsing heavily, and its not dropping like a stone as the incredible did.

The Bad part: What happens in a year and a half after the battery has been cycled over and over and over. It was my experience that the 1500mAh battery for the incredible and the 3000mAh battery I had in my windows phone had about a year of life in them before they started to suck. Is motorola gonna replace batterys that have cycled out prematurely before the end of two years? I guess we will just have to wait and see.

    2. Video and Audio. Holy crapoly. I watched an episode of Archer last night and the video quality (and sound quality) were far superior. The screen is amazing. Using pandora in the car the sound quality is superior.

The bad part: The screen is so big, I am afraid of what the first drop to the concrete is gonna do. I know its kevlar and gorilla glass, but the size of the screen relative to the phone scares me, even with a case. My incredible hit the deck no less than 30 times, and never a hint of screen damage. Granted it had a seido on it, and probably the best phone case I ever had.

    3. 4gLTE. 25Mbps download speeds. This doesnt have a bad part.

    4. Something that is only bad. Sense is just a better UI for android. Looks better, functions are a touch more intuitive and easy.

    5. Form factor is amazingly good. I love the size and shape, and the fact that it is so light for what it is.

The bad part: Slickness. The phone overall is to slick for my liking. It feels like I could eject it out of my greasy little fingers at any moment. Otterbox commuter comes in today and I am hoping that this fixes that issue. It will certainly give me more confidence.

    6. No software demons yet. I had one force close from the keyboard, and hopefully that is not sign of things to come. I was lucky with my incredible. It was pretty well demon free. No low memory warnings after I got everything configured right. I just hope this phone is as error free as my incredible has been.

Overall, I am pretty much in love, although I would have to say its not as magical as when I first got the incredible. That first high powered android beast was a life changing event. I scaled back to almost never using my netbook. I laid in bed and browsed on the incredible for hours on end. I never ever logged into my multiple email accounts on the computer anymore (or very rarely). I see this as the refinement to that useability. I have all that in a much better platform. Faster, better graphics, more memory, more battery, and for that I am in love.

**Can you tell I should be working on my dissertation prospectus right now? hahahhahaha

There are so many things to love about this phone. But to sum it up, I can use as many widgets as I want, live wallpaper, text/email/chat/skype and game as much as I want and NEVER have to use a charger at work or in the car. So grateful for a phone that can be used as intended and never worry about the battery life.

That's exactly what I'm looking forward to! No more "no I can't play that game because it's a battery hog, or let me get out of this app to check how much battery I have left." I can't wait until tomorrow when it is delivered!

I have to agree with other posters...I don't have to worry about the battery. I can use my phone how I want all day long and I know I'll be able to get through the entire day without needing to plug in. This is priceless to me.

I had a Fascinate, then Droid X (because the Fascinate was about to be thrown out a window), then went to an iPhone because I wanted something that "Just worked". I was a bit worried coming back to Android but the Maxx has not disappointed me in the least. I love having my calendar right on the home screen every time I turn the screen on, love the larger screen and will use my phone to look things up on the internet now (I hated using my iPhone and its small screen for internet stuff)...I have wifi AND USB tethering without paying extra...4G is great and to my surprise my home and work are in 4G areas (though I have wifi in both as well). The signal strength on this is fabulous. I haven't had a phone I could make/receive calls on reliably while in my work building in years. This baby handles it.

Not gonna lie...I miss the camera on the iPhone 4S. But that's about the only regret and it's not enough to make me change a thing. Too many other positives being back on Android.

Another word about the battery. My Incredible would be down to 5 to 15% after a typical day of use. With the same usage pattern, the Maxx is typically at about 70% when I go to sleep. Absolutely amazing.

It's also a really good phone. (Imagine that, using it as a PHONE!) Excellent voice quality.

It's super fast, not only for data, but for processing. Very responsive.

Other than the Moto software, which is not as good as the HTC, this is a pure win.
