I'm looking at getting a case for my phone. What type of case do you all have or getting?

I found this one and thinking about getting it.

Personally I love the NGP cases by Incipio. I've had 3 of them for 3 different phones and they're great. As far as I can tell there isn't one available for the Moto G.. yet.

Anyway, a slim, light TPU case that doesn't have a gaudy design or add too much bulk is what I look for. I haven't seen anything that really catches my eye for the Moto G yet. I need to get something on this phone ASAP to protect the bezel, I'm not too worried about the back or the screen but if the bezel gets scratched and dinged up there's no replacing it as far as I can tell. A really slim bumper might be really cool actually..

Edit: Just saw this on the incipio website NGP Case Coming Soon.

I like that NGP, I may get one of those when available and get the one I linked to for now. The phone is just too slippery for me handle and I sure do not want to drop it.

Is matte finish less slippery then glossy?

Thnx.

I went ahead and placed an order for one of these. There is a slim chance I may get it by Friday. It coming by USPS. I checked around locally but didn't anyplace have cases for the G.

In my experience glossy is no slipperier than matte unless it's wet. I always prefer the look of matte or satin finishes but that's a personal thing.

This looks like just about the best thing that's 'available' right now, although I hate the design on the back and around the camera. I wish they'd just made it plain and simple like the Incipio.

Of course there's more elaborate cases out there. My usual plan of attack is simple, black, slim, TPU. :p This one may have to do though. Like you said, this phone is quite slippery.

They both look nice to me.

To be honest I think that looks great and I like Rearth's products! I hadn't seen that before. The only issue for me is that it doesn't wrap around the top or bottom of the bezel leaving it prone to damage. If I could get the equivalent of an iPhone bumber case for my G (totally minimal and just to protect the shiny bezel) I would love that. I'm not worried about the back being scratched because it's replaceable but the bezel is glossy black and I'm sure that before too long it'll start to show wear. The only number style cases I've seen change the ergonomics of the phone. Also, not sure if this is a TPU type case or coated plastic.

I bet the Ringke will be perfect for some of the folks here though, so thank you for pointing it out!

Oh, and another thing about the Ringke, the button slots are cut out, which is really nice. I actually cut slots out of my last case because it was so hard to push the buttons. So that's great touch!

I like the Amzer Pudding TPU case I purchased. It feels rubbery and not slippery. It also wraps around the whole phone to include the front bezel. It doesn't provide any safety from drop impact but it does look nice! :)

I got the official flip case for the wife.

It enables sleep wake and also magnetically closes against the handset - something I wish the official Nexus 5 flip case did (it only has sleep wake) .

If anyone is interested......

I also mean to add, I couldn't get my IEMI working on the website, so i emailed the CS and this was the reply i received.

Good afternoon.

I have been informed that due to the volume of phones that were brought over christmas the IMEI numbers are taking a lttle longer then anticipated to upload. We are in the process of uploading these. They should all be uploaded by Monday so please try again on Monday afternoon.

Kind Regards

I've decided to get rid of my Samsung Centura and buy a Verizon prepaid Moto G (Verizon is the only choice where I live if you want a decent signal).

I'm going with this case since I tend to drop my phone and I'm going with these screen protectors Both are already ordered :D

It doesn't look like the links worked I'll edit them when I get home lol
