I am using a no contract phone service for an android I purchased from China, I purchased the unlimited talk, text, and web, but cannot get the data or internet part to start working on my phone. The data connection shows that it is on, but is still not working unless I am conected to wi-fi. Please help me!

What device do you have and what carrier? Have you tried to call your carrier?
Try toggling airplane mode on, then off again.
Have you tried a battery pull or a reboot?
