I am switching to Nexus 6P from iPhone world. There are so many restrictions on Apple's product so i give a try on Android. My question is how to move the whole of content(contacts, sms, music, ebooks, etc...) from iPhone to the new Nexus 6P. I saw a lot of solutions when searching on Google. I am wondering what the quickest method to do that in a whole not individually?

BTW, what the preferred way you used to transfer data between phones?

I've always used Samsung phones, and Samsung has tools to restore an iPhone backup to a Samsung phone. I'm sure there would be similar tools for other brands.

Yeah, i owned a samsung phone before and used Kies for that. but now seems the Smart Watch replaced Kies. However, this only apples the situation that you changed the old one to new one under the same brand.

This method is good for transferring photos and contacts, for music and sms, it's quite hard to do that. btw, Google services are not available in certain countries.

Think as long as you're not in China or North Korea or something, basic Google services should be available in most countries.

Nope. Smart Switch still has the iPhone option.

There are a lot of complaints on Play Store for Smart Switch.

Of course. Nothing is perfect. Works well for others though. That said there really isn't a perfect way to seamlessly transfer files from one OS to another, especially one that's designed to lock you into their ecosystem. The tedious manual way is still the most complete.

A 1-click tool is perfect for this (iphone to android for example). it's time consuming to transfer all the data between phones, especially not the same os

Not likely to happen, not with things often being manufacturer proprietary, especially Apple. And they certainly don't want to make it easy for you to transfer all your iOS stuff to a Samsung or something. They want you to buy new iPhones. It's sometimes known as vendor lock-in.

I'd think music would be on your computer. Any file explorer could do that transfer.
