So I've had my x for around a year now and have been plugging it into my car the whole time but the other day I plugged it in and nothing happened. It feels like its going all the way in and connected but music still plays over the phone speaker. Any help? Without having Verizon ship me a refurb?

you can try using a dental type pick to try prying the contacts inside the plug a little to get a better connection, or possible just try to clean the contacts with a light amount of alcohol.

is it possible this could be a warranty issue with no charge at all to you?
