This site has been very helpful to learn and understand the root process. I did my first root with Onix and it was pain free. Everything worked great and I have had no problems.
I moved onto Liquid Frozen Yogurt 1.4 and was less impressed. It may have been something on my side. However I had the keyboard issue and then my browser would not even open etc. I did a full wipe and reinstalled. I could not get past the welcome screen as pushing on Mr. Android did nothing.
After numerous reboots I decided to try something else. I went to Ultimate Droid 7. It took some time to get going. However by this morning it seems to be working fine. I am thinking of trying Sapphire 1.0 also.
Of course, this morning I got the update notice from Verizon for 2.2. Not decided on where I go from here.
Thanks to all for all of the help in the forums.
