Not sure you comprehended my post. Trash and yeah have virtually the same path. Yes I'm aware of adding words to the dictionary doesn't stop swype from picking the wrong wordin fact the more words in the dictionary the more chances of this occurring. Also why the rude comment? RTFM? Next time try understanding what your reading, k?
I understood what I read and I understand what I'm reading right now. Swype learns from its mistakes. I'm not talking about the dictionary. That's completely different. I don't even know the full extent of algorithms or processes that the developers used in creating this portion of the Swype feature, but I know for a fact that it's far better than just reading from the dictionary file.
RTFM is just an acronym. Just because you imagine one of the words as being offensive, it doesn't mean that the poster using it is meaning it in a derogatory manner. I said it because I meant it literally. I don't even have my Droid X yet and I've already gone through the entire manual. I want to know everything that I can do with the device. I'm already skimming through it a second time to make sure I didn't miss anything important. Apart from the manual, you can Google around if you like and find the same results. Swype is more, "intelligent," than you might think. Hell, the entire operating system is, let alone just one feature.
Maybe
you should try to understand what
you're reading next time, because you misunderstood my attitude and what
I was saying. I didn't mean offense and there was no reason for you to take what I said personally, or to react with a snarky attitude. I like this forum, especially these Droid X boards, because of most everyone's friendliness toward each other. If you don't want to act nice, then
please don't bother posting.
