I love my ZTE warp. That is my main business phone. But, I hunt half of the year. Sometimes in rain and snow. This would be a nice little beater phone for outdoors fun.Plus runs on android. That is just icing on the cake whooohooo!I've been looking at it for a while now!

I have this phone, and it works wonders! I absolutely love how it's waterproof, I had the warp but someone that got stolen and yeah :( never going to see that phone again, but I ended up buying the motorola xprt, that was an alright phone, just didn't care too much for the screen size or the keyboard but it was all I could afford at the time, then I ended up exchanging that phone for the hydro and man, that was a smart move! I love the fact that it's all touch screen, but I do miss having my 5mp camera but that's alright, the 3.2 is awesome too!

Have you purchase this phone yet?

No im waiting for the price to drop.I know it will!!I'll bet by x-mas it will be 80-100 bucks out the door.Either way im getting it.I love the fact it's water proof. She will be my back up/outdoors phone.I will be to distracted by it.And probably cost me a deer LOL!!I already seen them for 115 with shipping. He sold out fast!!!!That is why im not jumping into it.I still have the warp, which is a sick phone too!

Just got this phone todayand loving out so far. I had the ZTE Warp myself, and to be honest I really do not miss that phone at all, too much trouble for what it was worth.

I'm hoping this phone well get a lot of support from people on this forum and that they can make it even better

I still have the warp.I love that phone.Looking at some hydros on ebay for 90 bucks new! Hopefully I win the bid and get a great little back up droid.I will use her for outdoors sports.

Add a good high quality screen protector and one of these (271094340810) ebay for $8

and you have a darned near indestructible phone (if you don't abuse it)

the problem with those cases is while they DO provide scrape and penetration protection they provide almost ZERO drop protection.

many times corners (the very part you MUST protect) are exposed and they are "HARD" so they transfer the G forces of an impact directly to the phone most of the time.

the "multi layer" ones provide the real protection. the hard shell secures the phone and provides penetration protections while the silicon shell provides the shock and energy dispersal protection needed in the case of say a "drop"

thats true but the trick is not to drop it in the first place lol
i had a pure silicon stretch case for an old phone and it was great for the sides, corners and back, but as luck would have it i droped it right on the front glass, byebye phone
so no matter what case you use sometimes it just doesn't help

simple silicon cases suck.

Hybrids are better. Multi Layer is the best (but bulkier)

the problem with dropping it is that you never MEAN to drop it. if it was as simply as never dropping the phone we would have no need for cases at all in the first place :)

alas your case provides zero screen protection either. when are you MOST likely to drop the phone?

#1 while putting it away
#2 while retrieving it
#3 while HOLDING it

in all three cases its not "IN" its holster and therefore has zero screen protection.

not trying to be argumentative just explaining the different levels of protection and qualities of different cases.
