    I would like to have a home launcher with the following features:

    * Displays all installed apps alphabetically on the home screen and updates the home screens as apps are installed/uninstalled from the phone
    * no dock
    * no app drawer
    * no eye candy other than standard scrolling on home screens
    * option to scroll the home screen horizontally or vertically (via long-press menu on home screens or helper app?)
    * option to change wallpaper (via long-press menu on home screens or helper app?)

    Is there a way to make a home launcher that is nothing more than the standard Jelly Bean app drawer with wallpaper capabilities? That would be perfect.

    It's just a home launcher that acts as an app drawer, or an app drawer that acts as a home launcher. There could be a second "helper" app that takes care of settings and this would alleviate the need for a long-press on the home screen (just a thought, not required). It seems that this type of app would be simple, fast and small. And, I'd be willing to pay for such an app (no ads).

    I've never seen anything exactly like this in the google play store.

    Hmm.. Espier launcher seems to fulfil all of my needs except that I can't remove the dock. This would be the perfect update to Espier launcher.

    Try out Lucid Launcher with the browser page disabled. Pretty simple plus vertical scroll support.
