That process should work perfectly. I've noticed that I have to go into settings to get the message coloring to revert to the dark theme, so if you don't see it right away, keep that in mind.

    Worked great.
Yeah, had to turn off the black bg, then turn it back on for it to work. :D

It looks very good, but one question. How can I go back to the original font? This one is hard to read

Go to the original Bugless Evolution thread (should be relatively close to the top of this forum - in the first post, there are links to several different fonts - I use the DarkEdge font myself, but there are four different options for you to choose from (DarkEdge, Default, Evolution, and Kanged, I believe). You flash them the same way you flashed the theme.

I think any font package will work, but I've never tried that one, so I can't say with any certainty. I'd do a nandroid back-up and give it a go, and then report your results to the rest of the forum. Best of luck!

    OK, just tested it

Went to ROM Manager -> Download ROM -> forkup -> scroll to the bottom -> Skaggz Fonts and select Stock Font

    Now I can read

For some reason my screen will just come up with a black screen after the motorola logo and fail to boot (no boot animation). I end up having to restore my backup. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

I run BB 0.5 and have tried both evolution v8 and the remix0.5 just in case it was the theme. I tried it on SPrecovery and clockworkmod. Same result in both cases.

I place the theme zip on the sdcard as update.zip on the root folder, and in its own AndroidTheme folder.

I boot into recovery, run update.zip (no wipes).

On SPRecovery, it says 'install complete' but the installation bar is only about 45% complete. I let it go on for 10 more minutes but then it stops progressing once it reaches 80%.

On clockworkmod it just ends and stops showing the progress bar, but I am assuming the same thing is happening (whatever it is).

Anyone have any ideas? I ran bbtoolkit and removed the defualt MMS and browser apps and use my own skyfire/handscent but I don't think that would mess anything up (?).

It's probably less than ideal, but I'd back up everything with Titanium Back-up, then wipe, then re-flash bb 0.5. Once it reboots and restores apps and whatnot, flash the theme of your choice, see if that works, and then restore everything with Titanium. I'd also wait to put in Handcent and Skyfire until after you see if the theme will work without them. If they're causing the problem, then you'll need to decide if you prefer the theme or the non-default apps.

OK...sorry for the long quote, but I wanted to include the pictures. I LOVE the look of this...but when I flashed it, it looked different. Mainly the launcher. So...which launcher is this...the touch whiz launcher or the themed launcher pro? And how do I install them? I know how to flash this...just flash it over the latest version of BB (for me was v0.5). But does the themed launcher pro.zip file contain the launcher only? So how do I install that? Thanks in advance for the help folks!

The last picture is LauncherPro, while all others are with the TouchWiz launcher. Both are installable through a file manager such as Astro or Root Explorer.

Question about theme number 2, how did you manage to remove the clock?

EDIT: I'm running BB V0.5, not the stock FRG22D.

This should still work over Pete's FRG83, right?

Edit: Installed Droid X theme over FRG83 and it works/looks great!

Now that BB06 is out, who's going to be the first to flash a theme over it? Let's see if my wife notices anything is different when I update her Droid.
