Help there was a problem parsing the package

Hi guys.
I'm trying to install Vanced APK on dads old tablet (Galaxy Note 2014 edition) on kitkat but I'm getting error message:
"there was a problem parsing the package" before the install.
I did enable install from unknown sources...
How do I resolve this?

"there was a problem parsing the package"....usually means the app you're trying to install is either incompatible with the device, or the APK corrupted or truncated. Probably the former with your tablet.

No idea what this "vanced APK" is. But Android version Kitkat is ancient, and so many of the more recent apps just won't install and run on it, that's it.

There are multiple issues.
Bad download,
The app is not compatible with the OS.
I'm leaning towards app not compatible here...

This issue is generally due to the edition of the APK you are using that does not fit the Android system version on that tablet. It is recommended to obtain the correct apk edition for kitkat from apkmirror or apkpure.

You are trying to watch Youtube without ads and be able to download, right?
