    Hi, new to the forum.

I own a rooted Xperia Z2 running Lollipop 5.1.1 on Three in the UK

Since switching to a sim only contract deal I have noticed that WiFi and USB tethering is being throttled (to 10 kb/s) from 3pm-12am. The sim only deal I'm on alotts 30gb of tethering which I've barely used, so it's strange I'm getting such slow speeds..

Anyway I used to have a PAYG sim, and was managing to get more or less the same speed via tethering that I would get on my phone by using the "settings put global tether_dun_required 0" trick.

That setting has remained on my phone but the speed like I mentioned is significantly lower? Wondering if there is any fix or bypass for this, because I've been allotted 30gb of tethered data on an unlimited data plan, which is currently useless because the speed I get is so low. Any help is appreciated

They're looking over my account and said they should have fixed the problem in a couple of days, they didn't give a hint to what the problem might be though
