In the stock Messaging app, recently my gmail photo started showing up with every message I send (used to just be the stock silhouette).

Is there a way to hide the contact photo thumbnail of myself or both people (me and recipient)?

I don't really want to see myself every time I text someone. :(

    Thanks!

Well you have to remove the google photo from the pc or laptop browser . Not from the device

I want to keep that photo for others to see when emailing them.

But I don't want to see it showing up in my text messages.

Just was wondering if there's a setting somewhere that can hide photos in Messaging.
