as of right now i have the BB bold but want to switch to either the thunderbolt or incredible2. I found a thunderbolt on craigslist but the owner says that sometimes the screen doesnt turn on and takes a min or two to come on? they also said they think its because there isnt a sim card in it right now. Anyone heard of this problem or should i just cut my losses not buy it and keep looking.

In your opinions thunderbolt or incredible2 (this will be my first droid)

    Welcome to Android Forums!

The Sim card shouldn't cause the screen to not come on. I'd keep looking. Too much potential for problems with that phone. By the way, these are Verizon devices? If so they shouldn't have SIM cards unless they're global phones...either way lack of SIM card shouldn't be a problem for the phone...so the seller is telling some fanciful tale or just being very shady.

I think either phone will be great, but I have not had personal experiences with either one.

I happen to really like the Thunderbolt!

It's a good size, has 4G and a beautiful screen!

I'd steer clear of the one you mentioned, however. No reason the screen shouldn't come on without a problem. If it has a problem now, it'll probably only get worse over time.

    Keep looking, and good luck!

If you don't need 4G, the Incredible 2 is a great phone, IMO. Perfect combination of screen size, features, phone size, and battery life.

FWIW, I came from a BB Storm 2 and am thrilled with Android.
