    Hi,

I've got a generic 8 inch tablet with 2.3.4 (Onda Vi30). When I'm playing some games such as Abduction, My Paper Plane 3 or Raging Thunder, the controls seem to be wrong:

When I tilt the device left/right, the character on screen moves up/down and vica versa. This makes the game naturally unplayable...

Is there any way around this? I tried clicking the Calibrate controls in MPP3, but that didn't seem to do anything.

Does this have something to do that the tablet is designed to be held vertically?

The controls work ok in some games, such as Air Penguin. And of course, the launcher orientation works ok.

    Cheers,
    -olli

    -Welcome to AF! :)

I know Air Penguin does a bit of self calibration when it loads so it works out which way you're holding the device so it knows what's up/down etc.

Is there an option to recalibrate the G-Sensor anywhere? It might be in Settings -> Display.
