Have trafficlive and facebook on timescape but seetings to update is never. but everytime when access timescape, the status of both are latest. that wd mean both features are on auto update right, thus consuming battery life??

    Hey Queen.

When you access it (or click on the widget) and it hasn't 'Auto updated' It updates when you access it.

The phone is quick. Look for the downward pointing arrows on the top left that show for a sec or 2. Thats it updating.

    Minor battery and bandwidth usage.

It's only when you press the tile that it will direct you to usage (minor again).

    Cheers

Rather than make a new thread, I thought I'd ask some questions here:

I'll be a proud (hopefully) owner of the x10 tomorrow or Sunday, and the contract I am going on allows 250mb or 500mb Internet usage a month, not sure which one. My questions are:

    1. How much data does Timescape use up - updating it, opening a tile and clicking on the tile?

    2. Can you set Timescape to only update when you open it up?

    3. Does Mediascape use Internet, to update the online photos, or does it take them from Timescape?

    4. How much data would be used up if I left 3G on throughout the day?

    Thanks for any answers :)
