Does using Titanium Backup to link ROM apps (say Aldiko ebook reader which came bundled with my phone) with the market or freezing them bar me from getting the official updates (I havent got the 2.3 update yet, still using 2.2)?

I have a rooted phone and am using the Titanium backup free app. I will buy the pro app only if using its "pro" features, doesnt disqualify me to get gingerbread updates via the official route (Kies in my case).

    Help plz.

I don't know about SGSL, but on HTC phones if you are rooted, you can't get an official OS update. You will have to unroot your phone and go back to stock firmware for that.
This effectively cancels the changes done by Titanium backup.
