This close to EVO 3D launch I wouldn't recommend it, but only because I feel it is only fair to point out that this phone is being replaced as top dog on Sprint. If you were buying one, I'd go with a used unit for about $200. That's the same as you will pay for a new one on contract, but you don't actually have to sign the contract. If the 3D turns out to be as amazing as it sounds, you will still have a new 2yr contract to eat up and get that for the reduced price.

agreed, also the Evo should drop in price at or around when the 3D is released. I'd still recommend it, but not to buy it at full price right now.

Best phone by far that I have owned .. I don't regret buying it at all. I've been with Sprint since 1991 when my first phone was the size of a walkie-talkie. If the EVO 3D comes out with spectacular new features I can't live without, I'll upgrade if the price is right.

Meanwhile, I love my current EVO .. it does everything I need and lots more.

I would get the EVO 4G today, but only if it was on another Network, like Verizon. I live in a smaller town and Sprint coverage SUCKS big time. That's why, even though the EVO 3D is very appealing to me, I won't be getting it because it would underperform (like 10 times less) in my area. I am seriously considering paying the early termination fees at Sprint so I can move to Verizon and get the thunderbolt. Believe me, it has nothing to do with the phone (I don't see that much difference between the thunderbolt and the EVO). It's just that I am getting so frustrated not being able to receive or make calls in my apartment, not being able to browse the web at my workplace.
