I have a Sprint Samsung Epic - and I seem to remember something similar to this issue when I had my Touch Pro - there was confusion with multiple volume settings.
When I play a tone in Media Player, it plays real loud. However, when I get a message and that tone actually goes off, it's considerably quieter than media player.
From what I can tell, the ringer, and notification ringer levels are maxed out. Am I missing something?
