Top 5 Phones on front page? How is it decided?

Why is the HTC One at #1? It doesn't make any sense.

Based on specs and features it should be the Note 3 followed by the LG G2 and Nexus 5.

Based on sales right now it would be Nexus 5, Note 3 and Galaxy S4.

I'm relatively sure it's not based on specs. Even if based on activity, it doesn't look right either.

I see, well that makes perfect sense.

Would have thought the Sony Xperia Z1 would deserve to be listed but then again some reviews were not very kind.

You're 100% correct. They list the top five phone & tablet forums, based on activity.

Yep, analytics telling us which of all our forums are most frequented is how we picked the first group.

Of course them being up there at all will now skew results so, we will probably use other means along side that to ensure we're comfortable with choices.

Then, alpha.
