Wi-FI tether. I had take my sim out the phone for it to show up in market. This is a must have app for root users!

i had tethered by creating a new vpn with the correct settings before i rooted...is there any advantage to using either way more than the other?

I am using the APN as well, but I believe the most apparent advantage of using an App is that most of the apps have MAC Address Filtering for added security.
