totally at sea with Android

Hi,
I have a new Asus Transformer Prime complete with keyboard and am trying to get used to an operating system completely different from Windows or Apple. I am not getting very far as yet, I have downloaded Chrome Beta for Android and am currently trying to find out how to put favorite web sites (such as this one) on my desktop. I suppose I will get there in the end.
I am sure I will find lots of good info on these forums, I am about to start slogging through the threads, thanks to all those people who take the trouble to help us newbies.

Do you use Chrome on your home computer? If you do then your bookmarks and search history will sync across your PC and tablet.
