im getting the HTC thunderbolt soon and switching from a blackberry bold. How do you get the touch screen to click when you touch it? is it an app or just in the settings?

Hit menu, go to sound and it should be one of those options. For me, on a MT4g running Virtuous Unity, it's at the very bottom under "Feedback".

    Enjoy your new phone!

Welcome to Android Forums! It's called "haptic feedback" and most Android phones should have this option under the settings menu somewhere.
