Okay, so, my Droid's screen cracked, the touch screen, not the LCD. It still worked, I just didn't want to cut myself. I went ahead and ordered a brand new screen for it. After getting into my Droid and removing the old screen, which broke into a few pieces upon removal, I put in the new one. Closed it all up and no dice, touching didn't respond at all. Looking back into it, I could only have guess that I damaged the ribbon, knowing my luck it was not a cheep piece to replace. I replaced the ribbon that the touch screen and LCD connect to, still nothing, no response to any touching. I can still boot up, and a recommended update left my Droid stuck at the activation screen, cannot get by that at all now.
