    Hi,
I just dropped my phone. Not far, and not hard, but it did cause the battery cover to come off. Battery stayed in place. Now, however, the touch screen will not work. I tried removing the battery, and reinstalling, to no avail. I also pulled the battery and held the power button for 20 seconds, then reinstalled. Zippo. Ideas?

The connector could have popped loose. A wire could have broken. The touch screen could have broken.

You don't have to drop a phone far, or even onto a rock-hard surface, to cause internal damage.
